Baseball Game

Ah, Game Boy Baseball—simple, janky, and weirdly satisfying. You pick your team (they're all the same, let's be real), and suddenly you're staring down those chunky pixels pretending to be a batter. The pitching feels stiff at first, but after a few innings, you start timing those swings just right. Nothing beats that little "plink" sound when you nail a hit.
It's got that classic Game Boy charm—washed-out greens, players that look like they're sliding on ice, and a scoreboard straight out of 1989. Two-player mode is where it shines, though. My brother and I used to argue over whether bunts were cheating (they are). Just don't expect MLB realism—half the fun is watching outfielders teleport under fly balls.
Still holds up if you're into retro sports games, warts and all.
