Banishing Racer is one of those Game Boy racers that looks simple at first—just a tiny car zipping through blocky tracks—but man, does it get intense. You’re swerving around oil slicks, barely squeezing past traffic, and praying you don’t wipe out before the next checkpoint. The controls are tight, though, and once you get the hang of drifting around corners, it feels weirdly satisfying for something so old-school.
