About Banana (japan)
Banana for the NES was a Japan only release, and I believe Victor was the developer. It came out during that period when the Famicom was flooded with simple, single screen puzzle games, and this one fits right into that category.
You control a character, maybe a farmer, at the bottom of the screen. Your goal is to collect all the bananas that appear while avoiding the moles that pop up from their holes. The main mechanics are straightforward: you move left and right to grab the fruit, and you can temporarily stun the moles, probably by hitting them. The screen doesn't scroll; everything happens on one static playfield. The pacing starts slow but the moles quickly become more aggressive, making it a tense race to clear each stage. It feels like a constant, nervous scramble against increasingly unpredictable enemies.
