Bamse Game

Okay, so Bamse on Game Boy is one of those weirdly charming little platformers that feels like it was made just to put a smile on your face. You play as the big, friendly Swedish bear (you know, the one who eats honey to get super strong) bouncing through bright, blocky levels that look straight out of a 90s cartoon.
At first it seems simple—jump on enemies, push blocks, find keys—but some of those puzzles actually make you stop and think for a second. Like, there’s this one level where you’ve gotta time your jumps just right between moving platforms while these little goblin guys try to knock you off. Took me three tries, not gonna lie.
The music’s got that classic Game Boy chiptune cheeriness, and the sprites are surprisingly expressive for such tiny pixels. If you grew up with Bamse comics or cartoons, it’s pure nostalgia. If not, it’s still a solid little platformer with way more personality than most licensed games from that era. Just don’t expect anything groundbreaking—it’s comfort food for your Game Boy.
