Bakuchou Retrieve Master is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that never left Japan—you play as this kid trying to catch runaway chickens (yeah, seriously) before they wreck the town. The controls are simple, but those birds get sneaky fast—they'll dart behind fences, hop on roofs, and even gang up on you if you're not careful.

At first it seems easy, but then the levels start throwing in obstacles like angry dogs or sudden rainstorms that make the chickens slip around. There's something oddly satisfying about finally cornering that one stubborn hen after chasing it halfway across the screen. The pixel art's got that classic Game Boy charm too, all chunky sprites and exaggerated panic animations.

Definitely one of those "just one more try" kind of games when you're in the right mood.
