About Bad Dudes Vs. Dragon Ninja (europe)
Bad Dudes vs. Dragon Ninja came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990, published by Data East. It was part of that wave of arcade ports that filled the NES library, a straightforward beat 'em up where you punch and kick your way through a city overrun by ninjas.
You control one of two dudes, either Blade or Striker, on a mission to rescue the President. The game moves screen by screen; you clear all the enemies in one area before advancing to the next. Your main actions are punching, kicking, and jumping. You can also pick up a sword dropped by certain ninjas, which lets you dispatch enemies more quickly. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty ramps up quickly as you face more agile foes and environmental hazards. It feels like a frantic scramble from start to finish.
