Back to the Future Part II & III on NES is one of those weird licensed games that somehow makes time travel feel like running errands. You play as Marty hopping between 1955 and 2015, punching out bullies and collecting random items to fix the timeline—except half the time you're just wandering around confused about where to go next.

The 2015 section has those hoverboards from the movie, which sounds cool until you realize they control like you're on ice skates. And don't get me started on Doc Brown's "helpful" hints that somehow make everything more confusing. Still, there's something charming about how janky it all is—like the way Biff's gang respawns the second you turn your back.

Honestly, you'll probably get stuck at least twice before realizing you needed to grab some random item three screens back. It's a mess, but if you grew up with the movies, you might grin through the frustration.
