Back to the Future on NES is one of those weird licensed games that kinda nails the vibe but plays like a fever dream. You’re Marty McFly running around 1955, grabbing clock parts before your family photo fades away—mess up, and poof, no more future. The levels are chaotic, with random bullies and obstacles everywhere, and yeah, it feels a bit like Paperboy if Paperboy was hopped up on soda.

Between stages, you get these weird minigames where you’re chucking milkshakes at Biff’s gang or dodging traffic. It’s janky, but in that nostalgic way where you can’t decide if it’s frustrating or charming. Definitely not the best NES game, but if you love the movie, it’s a weird little time capsule.
