About Back To The Future 2 And 3
Back to the Future Parts II & III came out on the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990, developed by Beam Software. It was one of many licensed games from that era, trying to capture the spirit of the films on the 8-bit hardware.
You control Marty McFly, navigating side-scrolling levels by running and jumping on enemies or throwing projectiles at them. Your main goal is to collect items scattered through time; in the first stage based on Part II, you need to find 30 misplaced objects across different time periods to get the sports almanac back from Biff. The second stage, set in the Old West from Part III, is shorter and requires only 10 items to help Marty and Doc power their train for the trip home. The game moves screen by screen, and the difficulty can be unforgiving with precise platforming required. Playing it feels like a race against the clock, constantly pushing forward through tricky jumps and enemy patterns.
