Baby T-Rex is this weird little Game Boy gem where you play as a tiny, angry T-Rex named Rex—complete with a diaper and a grudge. The evil Professor Screw Eyes (yes, that’s his actual name) has kidnapped your dino pals, and it’s up to you to chomp, stomp, and tail-whip your way through his goofy minions.
The controls are simple—run, jump, and bite—but the levels get surprisingly tricky. One minute you’re smashing crates in a jungle, the next you’re dodging lasers in some mad scientist’s lab. The sprite work is charmingly janky, and Rex’s little growl when he attacks never gets old.
It’s short, silly, and exactly the kind of game you’d rent as a kid and beat in one afternoon. If you’re into retro platformers with personality, this one’s a fun little time capsule.
