B.C. Kid 2 is one of those weird, charming Game Boy platformers that feels like it got lost in time. You play as this little caveman dude who runs, jumps, and bonks enemies with a club—classic stuff, but with a goofy prehistoric twist. The levels are full of dinosaurs, pits of lava (because of course), and these weirdly satisfying fruit power-ups that make you invincible for a bit.
It’s not the smoothest game—expect some janky jumps and the occasional unfair enemy placement—but there’s something oddly addictive about it. Maybe it’s the chunky pixel art or the way your caveman yells when he dies. Either way, if you’re into retro platformers with personality, this one’s worth a look.
