Asmik-kun World 2 is one of those weird little Game Boy sequels that never left Japan—if you played the first one (Boomer’s Adventure in ASMIK World), this feels like more of that same oddball charm. You’re still pushing blocks and solving puzzles, but everything’s just a bit more polished. The sprites are chunkier, the music’s catchier, and some of the levels actually made me stop and think for a second.
No idea why it stayed Japan-only, honestly. It’s not like the first game was a masterpiece, but this one’s got that same weirdly satisfying loop of figuring out how to trap enemies or clear paths. If you’re into obscure puzzle-platformers, it’s a neat little time capsule.
