Okay, so As Aventuras do Fusca! is this weirdly charming N64 game where you basically play as a Beetle car—like, an actual Volkswagen—navigating through these colorful, slightly surreal levels. At first I thought it was just a gimmick, but the controls are surprisingly tight for a car platformer, and the puzzles actually make you think (especially when you’re trying to balance on narrow paths or figure out how to launch yourself onto higher platforms).
The art style’s got that late-90s low-poly charm, with bright colors and goofy animations—like when your Fusca does a little hop after landing a jump. Some of the later levels get pretty creative with obstacles, too. One minute you’re dodging rolling boulders, the next you’re using a seesaw to fling yourself across a gap. It’s janky in that way only N64 games can be, but in a fun, "how did this even get made?" kind of way.
If you’re into obscure retro games with personality, this one’s a solid pick. Just don’t expect it to take itself seriously.
