If you’ve ever fed quarters into an arcade cabinet, this Game Boy cart is basically a nostalgia bomb. You get two stone-cold classics: Asteroids and Missile Command, squeezed into that little gray brick. Asteroids feels weirdly satisfying on a tiny screen—just you, a triangle spaceship, and a ton of rocks to blast into smaller rocks (until they’re dust, or until you crash). The controls take a second to click, but once they do, it’s pure "one more try" energy.
Then there’s Missile Command, where you’re frantically tapping buttons to stop missiles from wiping out cities. It’s slower but way more tense—like playing whack-a-mole with explosions. The Game Boy’s monochrome somehow makes the panic worse (in a good way).
Honestly, it’s not the prettiest port, but who cares? These games were built for high scores and sore thumbs. You’ll probably lose your first city in 30 seconds. I did.
