Another Bible is one of those weird, obscure Game Boy RPGs that somehow slipped under the radar back in the day—but the English translation makes it worth digging up. You start off as this kid who gets dragged into some ancient prophecy nonsense (of course), and before you know it, you're recruiting monsters to fight alongside you. The pixel art’s got that classic early '90s charm, all chunky sprites and moody dungeon crawls.
What’s cool is how the battles play out—it’s not just swinging swords. You’ve gotta think about positioning and which creatures to deploy, almost like a tactical RPG but with a weird monster-collecting twist. Some of the enemy designs are downright bizarre, like someone mashed up biblical lore with leftover Mega Man Robot Master concepts. The story’s heavier on mysticism than your average GB title, too—expect cryptic dialogue and sudden betrayals.
Fair warning: it’s got that old-school grind, so if you’re not into random encounters or backtracking, maybe keep a walkthrough handy. But if you love digging up forgotten RPG gems, this one’s a trip. Just don’t expect it to hold your hand.
