Another Bible is one of those weird, early Megami Tensei spin-offs that flew under the radar—probably because it was Japan-only and on the Game Boy. It's a strategy RPG where you recruit and fuse demons (classic SMT stuff), but the grid-based combat feels more like Fire Emblem than the usual dungeon crawler. The sprites are tiny, but there's something charming about watching little pixelated demons duke it out on a chessboard.

Don't expect Persona-level polish here—it's clunky by modern standards, and the menus are a headache if you don't read Japanese. But if you're into obscure Megaten lore or just love digging up forgotten strategy games, it's a neat time capsule. The demon designs still have that weird, early-'90s vibe where everything looks either grotesque or vaguely cute.

Honestly, I only stuck with it because I was curious how they crammed a full SMT experience onto a Game Boy cart. Turns out, they didn't—but it's still a weird little piece of franchise history.
