Another Bible is one of those weird little Game Boy RPGs that somehow slipped under the radar back in the day. You start off with this ominous prophecy (of course) and before long you're recruiting monsters to fight alongside you—which sounds cooler than it is at first because half of them are just... weird blobs with eyes. But give it time.
The combat's turn-based but with a twist: positioning actually matters, so you can't just mash attack. I remember getting wrecked by the first boss until I realized my slime buddy needed to be up front tanking hits. The pixel art has that classic early-90s charm, all chunky sprites and dramatic spell effects that take up half the screen.
It's definitely janky in places—some translations are rough, and good luck figuring out what half the items do without trial and error. But there's something oddly compelling about its mix of biblical references and monster collecting. If you dig obscure retro RPGs, this one's worth a look just for how bizarre it gets by the end.
