Remember the Animaniacs? That chaotic trio of Yakko, Wakko, and Dot somehow made it onto the Game Boy, and honestly, it’s as weird and fun as you’d expect. You jump between mini-games—one second you’re dodging falling anvils, the next you’re solving some goofy puzzle that makes zero sense but still gets a laugh.
The controls are simple, but some of the challenges sneak up on you. I got stuck on this one part where you have to collect… pies? Or maybe it was watermelons? Either way, Dot kept yelling at me, which felt on-brand. The pixel art nails the show’s energy, even if the Game Boy’s green screen turns everything into a blurry mess after a while.
If you grew up with the cartoon, it’s a nostalgia trip. If not, it’s still a solidly weird little time-waster. Just don’t expect deep gameplay—it’s pure, dumb fun.
