Altered Space is this weird little Game Boy puzzle game where you're floating around in 3D space—or at least as close to 3D as the Game Boy could fake it. The isometric view makes everything look tilted and alien, which fits because you're solving these abstract puzzles on what feels like some abandoned space station.
At first it's just pushing blocks around, but then you realize some blocks phase through walls, others teleport you, and suddenly you're scratching your head trying to figure out how to reach that one floating platform. The controls take a minute to get used to since you're moving diagonally most of the time, but once it clicks, you start seeing solutions in the weird angles.
It's got that early '90s vibe where nobody explained anything—you just boot it up and figure it out as you go. The music's all eerie synths too, like someone left a keyboard running in an empty spaceship. Not bad for a game that barely anyone remembers.
