Alien Olympics 2044 Ad Game

Alien Olympics 2044 AD is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that somehow makes zero-gravity discus throwing feel totally natural. You pick your alien athlete—I went with the four-armed squid guy first—and then it’s off to events that feel like someone mixed the Olympics with a fever dream. The controls take a second to click, but once you get the hang of bouncing off walls in the low-grav sprint or timing your tentacle slaps in alien wrestling, it’s stupidly fun.
What really sells it is the sheer absurdity of it all. One event has you flinging glowing orbs at targets while floating in space, another is basically intergalactic sumo but with jetpacks. The pixel art’s surprisingly expressive too—you can tell when your alien’s exhausted because they start wobbling like they’ve had one too many space sodas. It’s janky in that classic Game Boy way, but that just adds to the charm. If you’ve got a soft spot for retro sports games that don’t take themselves seriously, this one’s a blast.
