Alfred Chicken is one of those weird, charming Game Boy platformers that feels like it fell out of a cartoon from the early '90s. You play as this dopey-looking red chicken hopping through surreal levels—some are farms, others are straight-up abstract nightmares with floating platforms and giant pencils. The controls are simple, but the jumps can get surprisingly precise, especially when you're dodging enemies like angry pigs or bouncing eggs.
It's got that classic "easy to pick up, weirdly tough to master" thing going on. The music’s catchy in that tinny Game Boy way, and the whole vibe is just... odd in the best possible sense. If you dig quirky retro platformers, this one’s a hidden gem.
