Your main goal is to rescue Princess Jasmine from Jafar, which involves navigating Agrabah, the Cave of Wonders, and the Sultan's palace. You use a scimitar for close range combat against guards and creatures, and you can also throw apples as a projectile attack. The game requires you to collect gems to earn extra lives and find hidden 1-ups, while avoiding bottomless pits and tricky platforming sections. The pacing is fairly quick, though some jumps demand precise timing, and the difficulty can spike in later stages. Playing it feels like a straightforward, energetic dash through a familiar story.
