About Aladdin (europe)
Aladdin for the Nintendo Entertainment System came out in 1994, developed by NMS Software. It was one of many Disney platformers from that era, a time when the NES was still active alongside newer consoles.
You control Aladdin, running and jumping through Agrabah and the Cave of Wonders. Your main goal is to rescue Princess Jasmine from Jafar. The game uses screen by screen exploration, moving from one fixed area to the next. You fight enemies with a scimitar, and you also spend a lot of time platforming, avoiding traps and collecting apples to throw. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty can be sharp, especially in later stages. Playing it feels like a brisk, challenging trip through the movie's key scenes.
