Akuma No Shoutaijou (japan) Game

Akuma No Shoutaijou is one of those weird, kinda janky NES games that somehow sticks with you. It's a side-scrolling action thing where you play as this kid trying to escape a haunted mansion—except the mansion keeps shifting around, and the enemies are just... bizarre. Like, one minute you're dodging floating eyeballs, the next you're getting chased by a giant demonic hand. Classic NES weirdness.
The controls take a second to get used to (jumping feels a little floaty), but once you figure out the rhythm, it's oddly satisfying. And the music? Creepy in that perfect 8-bit way. Not gonna lie, it's tough—expect to die a lot—but there's something about the atmosphere that makes you want to push through.
If you're into obscure retro games with a dark vibe, this one's a neat little time capsule. Just don't blame me when you get stuck on that one hallway with the disappearing platforms.
