You control Bullwinkle for most of the game, walking and jumping through side scrolling levels. Your main goal is to rescue Rocky, who has been captured by the usual villains, Boris and Natasha. The gameplay involves basic platforming, breaking certain blocks by jumping into them from below, and collecting acorns. Some stages switch to a forced scrolling perspective where you control Rocky flying through the air, which breaks up the pace. The difficulty can be unforgiving, with precise jumps required and enemies that respawn quickly. Playing it feels like a straightforward, sometimes frustrating test of your patience and timing.
