About Adventures Of Rocky And Bullwinkle And Friends, The
I remember picking up The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends for the NES back in 1992. It was developed by Imagineering Inc., and it felt like a pretty standard licensed game for that era on the console. You got to play as either Rocky or Bullwinkle, which was the main draw if you were a fan of the cartoon.
You control either character through side scrolling levels, and your main goal is to stop Boris and Natasha's plans. The gameplay involves a lot of jumping on platforms and avoiding enemies. You collect acorns to gain power ups, like a temporary invincibility, and you also find items to unlock new areas. The pacing is slow, and the controls can feel a bit stiff, making some of the platforming more difficult than it should be. It feels like a straightforward, sometimes clunky, trip through the show's world.
