Adventures of Lolo 3 came out for the NES in 1991, developed by HAL Laboratory. It was part of that later wave of NES puzzle games, arriving when the system was well established but before the 16-bit consoles took over entirely. You control Lolo, a round blue character, through a series of single-screen rooms. Your goal is to rescue the princess Lala by collecting all the Heart Framers in each level to unlock a treasure chest. The core mechanics involve pushing blocks to create paths, avoiding or outsmarting enemies that you cannot directly attack, and using special items like the Emerald Framer to turn enemies into temporary blocks. The puzzles are methodical, requiring you to plan several moves ahead, and the difficulty ramps up significantly in the later floors.
