Adventures of Lolo 2 is one of those old-school puzzle games that starts simple and then absolutely wrecks your brain by the halfway point. You play as Lolo, this little blue blob guy, trying to rescue Lala (who, yeah, keeps getting kidnapped—classic damsel in distress move). The king of Eggerland’s tower is full of these grid-based rooms where you push blocks, dodge enemies, and collect hearts to unlock doors.

At first, it feels straightforward—move a block here, avoid a snake there—but then the puzzles get devious. Like, you’ll think you’ve got it figured out, only to realize you just trapped yourself in a corner. The enemies are weirdly charming too, from bouncing skulls to these little egg guys that just shamble around.

It’s got that classic NES vibe—simple sprites, catchy chiptune music, and the kind of challenge that makes you want to throw your controller but in a good way. If you like puzzles that make you stop and actually think, this one’s a gem.
