So Adventures of Lolo 2 picks up right after the first game—just when you thought Lolo and Lala were safe, King Egger swoops in again and nabs Lala. This time, he’s holed up in a floating castle above this massive tower, and Lolo’s gotta clear all nine floors to reach her. Classic damsel-in-distress setup, but the puzzles? Way meaner than the first game.
They spruced up some of the monster sprites—Gol and the Medusas look sharper—and the difficulty’s cranked up a notch. A few puzzles are even throwbacks to the older Eggerland games, which is a cool nod if you’ve played those. There’s this satisfying moment at the end where you finally get to fight King Egger head-on (first time in the series!), and if the main 50 rooms aren’t enough, there are four hidden Pro puzzles that’ll wreck you in the best way.
It’s the same charming, brain-melting block-pushing action, just with more teeth.
