Ever played one of those early PC platformers that somehow made it to the NES? The Adventures of Captain Comic is one of those—a side-scroller from way back when jumping on pixelated platforms was still a novelty. You’ve got this little space explorer running and gunning (well, more like jumping and collecting) through alien worlds, grabbing keys and dodging weird creatures. It’s rough around the edges—expect some janky jumps and cryptic level design—but there’s a weird charm to it if you’re into retro quirks. Definitely feels like stepping into a time machine.
