Advanced Dungeons & Dragons - Dragon Strike Game
📅 1990 ✍️ Westwood Associates

Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Dragon Strike for NES is one of those games that starts off cool but doesn’t quite stick the landing. You pick between three dragons—Bronze, Silver, or Gold—and dive into some short missions. At first, it’s fun swooping around and breathing fire, but after a while, you realize there’s just not much to do. The missions feel repetitive, and the game doesn’t throw enough variety at you to keep it interesting.
Oh, and here’s a tip I wish I’d known earlier: when you finish a mission, fly all the way north to the edge of the screen to move on. I spent way too long stuck on the first level because the game doesn’t exactly spell that out for you. If you’re a hardcore NES collector, maybe give it a shot, but don’t expect a hidden gem.
