You play as Gomez Addams in this weirdly charming NES platformer—basically, you're bouncing around the family mansion, dodging traps and creepy-cute enemies to rescue the rest of the Addams clan. The lawyer guy Tully’s behind it all (of course), so you’ll hop through graveyards, crawl under chandeliers, and deal with the occasional exploding frog. The controls take a second to get used to—Gomez slides a bit when he stops running—but once it clicks, it’s oddly satisfying. And yeah, the music’s exactly the kind of eerie carnival vibe you’d expect.
It’s not the hardest platformer out there, but there are some sneaky spots where the level design messes with you. Watch out for the disappearing platforms in the attic—I fell for that way too many times.
