4 Nin Uchi Mahjong (japan) Game

4 Nin Uchi Mahjong is one of those old-school Famicom gems that makes you realize how much simpler games used to be. You boot it up, and bam—straight into a no-frills Japanese mahjong table. No tutorials, no hand-holding, just tiles and the hum of 8-bit background music.
At first, the symbols can look like total gibberish if you're not familiar with traditional mahjong, but after a few rounds, you start picking up patterns. The AI isn’t brutal, but it’s not a pushover either—expect some sneaky discards that’ll make you groan when the CPU suddenly declares "Ron!" out of nowhere. The four-player mode is where it shines, though. Feels like sitting in a tiny, pixelated parlour with friends, even if they’re all controlled by the computer.
It’s definitely a product of its time—barebones, a little clunky, but weirdly charming if you’re into retro stuff. Just don’t expect flashy animations or voice lines when you hit a winning hand.
