10-Yard Fight is one of those early NES football games that feels more like a quick arcade scramble than a full-blown sports sim. You pick your team (good luck telling them apart), and then it's just you versus the clock, trying to push through defenses in these short, frantic plays.

It's super basic—no fancy plays or deep strategy, just running, dodging, and hoping you don't get tackled before the next first down. The controls are stiff by today's standards, but there's something weirdly satisfying about breaking through the line and sprinting for the end zone.
