Zhuagui Dashi - Ghost Hunter (china) (unl) Game

Zhuagui Dashi—Ghost Hunter is one of those weird, obscure Genesis games that somehow slipped under the radar. It’s a Chinese-exclusive release where you play as a, well, ghost hunter, running around exorcising spirits with a mix of martial arts and magic. The sprites are chunky in that classic 16-bit way, and the levels throw everything at you—haunted temples, floating demons, even possessed furniture. Not gonna lie, the controls take a second to get used to, but once you figure out the timing for your attacks, it’s oddly satisfying to smack a ghost into submission.
There’s something charming about how rough-around-the-edges it feels—like a lost arcade game from the early ‘90s. If you’re into offbeat action games with a supernatural twist, this one’s a neat little time capsule. Just don’t expect a polished masterpiece.
