If you grew up with Yuu Yuu Hakusho, this Sega Genesis fighter is pure nostalgia fuel. The pixel art nails the anime’s style—Kuwabara’s hair is still ridiculous, and Hiei’s dragon of the darkness flame actually looks terrifying. Gameplay’s faster than you’d expect for a 16-bit brawler, with combos that feel satisfyingly chunky when they land.

Picking Yusuke first seems obvious, but I got wrecked until I figured out Botan’s weird floaty moves actually work surprisingly well. The stages are tiny (classic Genesis limitations), but the music slaps—that tournament announcer voice yelling "FIGHT!" still gets me hyped. Just don’t expect deep mechanics; it’s more about chaotic fun with friends than competitive balance.
