Okay, so Yogi Bear’s Cartoon Capers is one of those weirdly charming licensed platformers from the Genesis era. You play as Yogi, obviously, bouncing around Jellystone Park, stealing picnic baskets—because what else would he be doing? The first level throws you right into it: hopping over logs, sliding under branches, and dodging Ranger Smith, who’s somehow always three steps behind.

The graphics are bright and cartoony, like someone smeared Saturday morning TV all over your screen. You’ll spot Boo Boo hiding in the background, and sometimes Cindy Bear shows up to… honestly, I’m not sure what she does besides look concerned. The controls are a little floaty, but you get used to it—just don’t expect Mario-level precision when you’re leaping onto moving platforms.

It’s not the hardest game out there, but there’s something oddly satisfying about nabbing a basket and hearing that goofy "Yogi!" voice clip. If you grew up with the cartoon, it’s pure nostalgia. If not, it’s still a decently fun, if slightly janky, platformer with way more personality than most licensed games from that era.
