You pick from a handful of winter sports—downhill skiing, ski jumping, biathlon, that kind of thing—and the controls are just simple enough that you don’t need a manual, but tricky enough that you’ll eat snow a few times before getting the hang of it.

The pixel art holds up surprisingly well, especially the little skier animations when you wipe out. And yeah, it’s a beta, so some events feel a little rough around the edges, but that almost adds to the charm.
