Wayne Gretzky NHLPA All Stars came out for the Sega Genesis in 1995, developed by Bethesda Softworks and published by Time Warner Interactive. It was one of many hockey titles on the system, arriving late in the Genesis lifecycle when developers were pushing the hardware with faster, more detailed sports simulations.
You control a five man hockey team, switching between players to pass, check, and shoot the puck. The main goal is to outscore the opposing team within three periods.
