Warsong (graphics Hack) Game

Warsong (Graphics Hack) takes that classic Genesis tactical RPG you might remember—or maybe missed—and gives it a serious visual glow-up. The pixel art’s been redone with way more detail, so your little army sprites actually look like proper knights and mages now instead of vague blobs. Still plays like the original though: you’re moving units across grid maps, trying not to get your healer surrounded by axe-wielding maniacs, that sort of thing.
First few battles ease you in, but don’t get too comfortable—by mission three, you’ll be resetting turns because you forgot the enemy cavalry can move *way* farther than you thought. The new sprites help a ton with readability during fights, though. No more squinting to tell if that’s a friendly archer or someone about to ruin your day.
If you bounced off the original because of its rough edges, this version’s probably the one to try. Just don’t expect the AI to go easy on you.
