Viewpoint is one of those weird, punishing isometric shooters from the SNK/Sammy collab that somehow makes top-down angles feel even more brutal than a standard shmup. You pilot this little ship that looks like a futuristic dragonfly, weaving through neon grids and geometric death traps while bullets come at you from every possible diagonal. The first stage tricks you into thinking it's manageable—then the second level hits, and suddenly you're dodging ricocheting lasers while the screen fills up with spinning hexagons.

It's got that classic Neo Geo difficulty where you'll die a lot, but the chunky pixel explosions and synth soundtrack keep you from rage-quitting immediately. Also, the hitbox on your ship is way smaller than it looks, which is either a mercy or a cruel joke depending on how many continues you have left. If you like your shooters with a side of disorientation, this one's a trip.
