VR Troopers came out for the Sega Genesis, known as the Mega Drive in Europe, in 1995. Sega published it, and it was one of many games from that period trying to capture the energy of a live-action TV series, in this case the American show of the same name. You control one of three VR Troopers, switching between them to fight through side-scrolling stages. Your main goal is to defeat the army of mutant cyborgs and robots from the virtual world, moving screen by screen and clearing each area of enemies.
