Uwol – Quest for Money is one of those Genesis platformers that feels like it crawled straight out of the late '80s—in a good way. You play as this little dude in a red hat hopping across floating islands, dodging weird enemies (some look like angry tomatoes?), and grabbing every coin in sight. The controls are simple—run, jump, collect—but the levels get sneaky with disappearing platforms and enemies that pop up out of nowhere.

The music’s got that classic bouncy chiptune vibe, and the pixel art is charmingly rough around the edges. It’s not the hardest game out there, but there’s something satisfying about nailing a tricky jump just to grab a hidden stash of gold. If you’ve got a soft spot for forgotten Genesis gems, this one’s worth a few rounds.
