Undead Line is one of those weird, forgotten Genesis shooters that somehow mixes zombies with top-down bullet hell. You start off in this creepy city overrun by the undead, blasting away with a pea shooter that feels way too weak at first—until you grab a power-up and suddenly you're mowing down hordes like it's nothing.
The controls are a little stiff, but once you get used to it, the game throws some seriously chaotic waves at you. There’s something oddly satisfying about watching zombies explode into pixelated chunks. And yeah, the music’s got that classic early '90s Sega synth vibe, all dramatic and slightly off-key.
It’s not the deepest shooter out there, but if you’re into retro games with a weird twist, this one’s worth a few playthroughs.
