Undead Line is one of those weird, forgotten Genesis shooters that somehow mixes zombies with spaceships. You start off blasting through creepy city ruins, dodging mutant creatures and undead soldiers—then suddenly you're in space fighting alien battleships? The controls are a little stiff, but the sheer absurdity of the enemy designs (half-rotted cyborgs, floating skulls with jetpacks) makes up for it.
There's a weird charm to how the game just throws everything at the wall—one minute you're dodging zombie dogs, the next you're in a tunnel full of laser traps. The fan translation patch helps, though some of the dialogue still reads like it was run through Google Translate twice. If you're into janky 90s shooters with bizarre enemy variety, this one's a trip.
