Undead Line is one of those weird, forgotten Genesis gems—a top-down shooter where you’re basically mowing down zombies with a machine gun while dodging mutant bats and whatever else the game throws at you. The controls are simple (move, shoot, pray), but the screen gets packed fast, and those pixel zombies don’t mess around.
First few minutes? You’re dropped into some creepy city streets, blasting away at shambling corpses while this chunky synth soundtrack pumps in the background. Then suddenly, a giant worm bursts out of the ground, because of course it does. The whole thing feels like a B-movie turned into a bullet hell, and I mean that in the best way.
It’s got that classic "just one more try" energy—even when you die for the fifth time because a swarm of zombies cornered you near an ammo pickup. If you’re into retro shooters with a side of cheesy horror, this one’s worth dusting off.
