About Two Crude Dudes (europe)
Two Crude Dudes came out for the Sega Genesis in 1992, published by Data East. It was part of that wave of side scrolling beat 'em ups that filled arcades and living rooms back then, a straightforward action game you could play with a friend.
You control one of two mercenaries, either Crude B or Crude D, fighting through a ruined New York. Your goal is to dismantle the Big Valley gang by clearing each area of its members. The gameplay involves moving from left to right, punching and kicking waves of enemies. You can pick up various objects from the environment, like barrels or oil drums, and throw them at foes. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can be unforgiving, with enemies swarming you from all sides. It feels like a chaotic, no frills brawl from start to finish.
