Ever played one of those arcade shooters where you just hold down fire and pray? Twin Cobra isn’t that. You’re in a chopper, sure, but dodging tank shells and weaving between enemy bullets actually takes some finesse—especially when the screen starts filling up with explosions. The power-ups help (grab the double shot ASAP), but you’ll still sweat through the later levels.
The music’s got that classic arcade punch, and the colors pop even on Genesis hardware. It’s tough as nails, though—I remember grinding the first few stages just to memorize where the suicide planes dive at you. If you’re into retro shooters that don’t hold your hand, this one’s a blast. Just don’t blame me when you get wrecked by the boss rush near the end.
