Tunshi Tiandi Iii (china) (simple Chinese) (unl) Game

Tunshi Tiandi III is one of those obscure Genesis/Mega Drive beat 'em ups that never left China—which is a shame, because it’s got this weird, rough charm to it. You pick from a handful of martial arts fighters (the big guy with the chain whip is my go-to) and plow through waves of enemies in that classic side-scrolling brawler style.
The sprites are chunky, the animations stiff in that early '90s way, and the whole thing feels like a bootleg take on Streets of Rage with more exaggerated kicks and punches. There’s something oddly satisfying about the way enemies crumple when you land a heavy hit, even if the controls take a minute to get used to.
It’s definitely janky, but if you’re into digging up forgotten arcade-style brawlers, this one’s a fun curiosity. Just don’t expect polished combos or deep mechanics.
