Transformers Prime on DS is basically what you'd expect—run around as Optimus or Bumblebee, punch Decepticons in the face, then flip into vehicle mode when you need to haul ass. The transforming mechanic actually feels pretty smooth for a DS game, though the camera can get a little janky in tight spaces.
Missions are straightforward—smash stuff, escort allies, the usual—but the boss fights against guys like Megatron and Starscream are where it shines. Pro tip: save your energy attacks for when they're staggered, or you'll just waste them. The pixelated explosions are oddly satisfying for a handheld title.
It's not gonna blow your mind, but if you ever wanted to clobber Soundwave with a truck door, this gets the job done.
